The
Saint Laurent Rive Droite reopens its store in Paris this February after a year of extensive renovations. The new space reflects an innovative architectural approach and marks an
exclusive collaboration with Donald Judd Furniture, reaffirming the
maison's commitment to art and design. The partnership brings
two new metallic finishes for the iconic furniture of artist Donald Judd (1928-1994), now available in black and white – signature colors of Saint Laurent.
The unprecedented finishes, black steel, and white aluminum, have been developed
exclusively for the collection and are being launched for the first time in this collaboration. These new versions are part of the original line created by Judd in 1984 and will be sold only at Saint Laurent Rive Droite. Among the iconic pieces that receive these updates are
chairs, tables, desks, and beds, reaffirming the Maison's dialogue with contemporary design and minimalist architecture.
The store, located in the Rive Droite of Paris, goes beyond the traditional concept of a luxury
boutique, consolidating itself as a
multidisciplinary space that unites fashion, art, music, and gastronomy. Designed to offer an immersive experience, it hosts
exhibitions,
artistic collaborations, and
exclusive launches that reinforce Saint Laurent's avant-garde identity. With sophisticated design and spacious environments, the venue reflects the brand's refined aesthetic, providing a sensory journey for visitors.
In addition to the renovation of the space and the collaboration with Donald Judd, the reopening brings cultural and gastronomic novelties. Saint Laurent inaugurates the
Babylone bookstore, dedicated to literature, art, and music, expanding its commitment to the Parisian cultural scene. The brand also strengthens its presence in the publishing universe with
Saint Laurent Editions and in music with the
Frequencies project. To complete the experience, the store hosts the first international unit of the prestigious
Sushi Park, from Los Angeles, which will offer an exclusive
omakase menu on the lower floor of the
boutique.
