Saccaro and DEPEDRO reinforce the value of handmade products in a new partnership
As part of the Design Week 2023 program, the Saccaro store in São Paulo received an exclusive piece made by crocheters from Rio Grande do Norte

The beauty of ancestral knowledge and collective work shines through in the project " Saccarofrom the Inside Out ", which the furniture brand carried out in its showroom at Alameda Gabriel during DW! 2023 .The work unfolded throughout the festival, under the coordination of Rio Grande do Norte stylist Marcus Figueiredo , from the DEPEDRO brand, one of the revelations of the Brazilian fashion scene.

Four crocheters, coming directly from Rio Grande do Norte, created in front of the public a new crochet “ skin ” for the curved Omni sofa , a new launch by Saccaro.The initiative reinforces the value ofhandmade productsand the creative exploration of weaves, characteristics that are in Saccaro's DNA.
The choice of De Pedro and her artisans as partners in the project reinforces the atmosphere of affection and care, highlighting the strength and delicacy of handmade work, and reinforcing the artistic valueof crochet and weaves in general.“We created an exclusive print , called Caminhos, inspired by the patterns of hydraulic tile floors”, says Marcus Figueiredo , creative director at De Pedro.

“More than 200 crocheters are involved. Each one produced a square, which, during Design Week, were joined together by the four representatives of the group, forming a patchwork that aims to reflect the heterogeneity of Brazil and the Northeast”, she adds.
