In this edition, CASACOR São Paulo maintained its Sustainability Program , with the goal of maintaining at least 99% of waste recovery. It also guaranteed 100% compensation for its carbon emissions , including the Carbon Neutral edition of the CASACOR Yearbook and, in addition to having the Certification Zero Waste, the edition has the HBC (Healthy Building Certificate) seal, which certifies the healthiness of the event environment.
The expansion of social responsibility activities was also part of the strategies, with the Casa da Daniela Project, in partnership with the NGO Fazendinhando , by architect Ester Carro. CASACOR's noble waste will be used in the renovation of a house in Jardim Colombo/Paraisópolis, with the execution of services carried out by Fazendeiras, women from the neighborhood who received training in civil construction, including during the CASACOR São Paulo project, with training in painting, in partnership with Tintas Coral.
Another important action is the partnership with Movimento Greenk , which transformed CASACOR São Paulo into one of the electronic waste disposal points located in the city's main parks and public buildings. The initiative has the support of the Secretariat for Green and Environment. The collection point is part of the São Paulo City Hall and collects around 30 tons of electronic waste per year. The idea of bringing the collection point into the exhibition is to recover and direct electronics (cell phones, tablets and computers) to schools and needy organizations.
The practices of the CASACOR Sustainability Program also remain as a legacy for Allianz Parque, which had its Sorting Center renovated, in a partnership with CASACOR and Coral . Another activity that becomes part of the daily routine is the selective collection and composting of waste. food by the internal Food & Beverage operator, from construction to disassembly.
