Cartel Zero Onze welcomes artist
Gustavo Barroso for a
pop-up with his collectibles at
CZO STORE , its physical store in Pinheiros (SP) and also on the brand's
e-commerce . His work has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times Style Magazine, Hypebeast, Office Magazine, Azure Magazine, Trendland and ArtX and Gustavo has collaborated with Louis Vuitton, Jägermeister, Heron Preston, Adidas, among other brands.
The sculpture shirts feature a front and back graphic that
transforms the wearer into a proverbial sculpture . This will be the first time these pieces will be presented in Brazil, after
selling out at their launch in New York. Exclusive, only 70 units will be available.
The inaugural collectible in the “
Gustavo Barroso Mini Chair ” series will be sold in super limited quantities:
only five Mini Green Slime Chairs will be available for sale.
The artist focuses primarily on
American and Brazilian pop culture and iconography. Offering consulting, design, and manufacturing, he primarily serves fashion brands and musicians. His collectors are people interested in the intersection of these languages. As a creator, Barroso leverages
virtual reality and
3D printing in conjunction with moldmaking, casting, and papier-mâché, among other experimental practices.
