The Jangada armchair was created in 1968 by Jean Gillon and won the hearts of professionals in the field and also the general public. Several reinterpretations of the famous armchair have been made, preserving its essence, as in the Casa Nica project, by Ramiro Mendes, for Janelas CASACOR Ceara edition .

The Mole armchair was created by Sergio Rodrigues in 1957 and is still recognized today as one of the most renowned pieces of national design . Originally, the armchair had been commissioned by photographer Otto Stupakoff, who wanted a sofa where people could sit and relax. feel like royalty. The raw design of the soft armchair was surprising at the time, when the fashion was for toothpick legs and elegant silhouettes, but it soon became popular with the public.

A key piece from 1974, but which remains quite modern and sought after today, the Marquesa bench designed by Oscar Niemeyer and Ana Maria Niemeyer is covered in Vienna straw. So many years later, who would have thought that the straw piece would be more alive than ever?

5. Arco Lamp - Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Achille Castiglioni

Modern and practical, the Arco lamp arose from the need for a ceiling pendant that did not pierce the walls . Inspired by street lamps, the Italian brothers and designers Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Achille Castiglioni brought this piece to life. It is a great option especially for creating a spotlight on a specific point you want to highlight.
