How many times during your childhood have you heard the question "what do you want to be when you grow up?"? Certainly more times than you can remember. With this in mind, curated by
Felipe Morozini ,
Estar Móveis decided to bring the theme to life in a
playful and reflective exhibition for the
Design Weekend in São Paulo .
The proposal is to play with different scales of an object from the perspective of
microcosms to present
particular universes of furniture and works in miniatures , signed by 25 creatives – including designers, artists and artisans.
"Although furniture miniatures can be observed for their ritualistic functions since ancient times, they are also recognized as
symbols of real furniture and perceived for their playful character , as toy pieces, or for their function, as usable pieces", says Felipe Morozini.
The idea is to look at the objects in a playful way, as if through the eyes of a child, and to have adventures and fun with the pieces. The exhibition runs until
March 18 , from 10am to 7pm from Monday to Friday, and until 4pm on Saturdays.
Address: Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva 1080 - Jardim América, São Paulo/SP.
