The new RAVIE capsule collection by Swiss artist
Elena Barenghi is a mix of
art ,
design and feelings. Consisting of
10 rugs , the collection is made
from 100% wool and the rugs were handmade using the
kilim flat pile tying technique in India, in ethically certified manufacturing centers.
The pieces enrich a
new language that refers to his homeland, his childhood and the
feeling of joy from moments spent in nature. In his words:
Born in Switzerland, the artist has wandered through nature since her adolescence, writing poems that lead her to singing , fashion , art and design . Currently, the artist lives between New York and Noto , in Italy, where she has just completed a mural, inspired by the city's history, which was commissioned by the municipality itself.
