A refuge to disconnect, recharge your batteries and breathe. This was the premise of architect
Cilene Lupi when designing the space
A home to press pause , at
CASACOR São Paulo 2023. The space was designed to be the home of a young person from generation Z, combining nostalgic elements of the past with a vision focused on the future and its multiple opportunities.
With
88 m² , the project has a living room, kitchen, balcony and bedroom that capture the essence and emotional memories. For the
decoration , the architect sought
elements inspired by the emotional connections of generation Z. “In the theme of accessories and clothing, we have an ode to childhood memories, in the
place where the love for fantasy began: Disney . Emblematic characters and the perspective of a parallel life where there are no borders, where everything is possible, where you can simply be whatever you want”, she explains.
The collection includes
100% cotton bedding sets, embroidered bedspreads, bath sets and a variety of decorative pillows . The ceramics feature elements from the
Toy Story franchise, Monsters Inc. and other Disney classics such as
Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland , with a variety of
plates (plates and dessert plates), bowls and mugs .
The theme also appears in the artwork "
People Look Like People ", from the Gibi series, by artist
Vik Muniz , which is at the entrance to the space.
“All architects and brands are chosen based on a
briefing and
a match between the professional and the brand. During our conversations, we realized how much Cilene naturally liked the brand, and this was later reflected in her project. She managed to bring a creative and innovative proposal, embracing our DISNEY100 collection with many pop culture references and bold design,” says
Mariana Rosalen , marketing coordinator at Casa Riachuelo. “The DISNEY100 collection is now available in all CASA Riachuelo stores, Riachuelo stores with the Home department, and on our
e-commerce site. It is worth noting that we will have two other new products arriving in the second half of the year,” she adds.
