Born in Japan and acclaimed worldwide, both characteristics can refer to both
Nendo , a famous design studio, and
Cup Noodles . To embody this duo, the studio has launched a fork with a very specific purpose: to ensure the
perfect fit for eating instant noodles.

Although in the country of origin the most common way to eat Cup Noodles is with
bamboo chopsticks , with the arrival of the brand to the West there was also a need to
develop a fork that would make it easier to consume the product – and that's what Nendo created.

"First, when examining the angle and arm movement when eating a Cup Noodle, it was discovered that the angle made with a normal fork was too steep, causing the noodles and topping to slide off," the designers in charge explain.
To make it easier to pick up the noodles and toppings and bring them to your mouth, the shape of the fork was “distorted”: the head was
bent at 128º , and the
teeth were spaced at just the right distance to make it easier to roll the noodles, but there is also a small cavity that helps to capture the soup.

Two forks were created: one designed for
right-handed users and the other for left-handed users . The forks are small in size and can be
reused and transported in a portable case.
