MDW: Moooi prepares 6 launches for 2025

At the Milan Design Week 2025, Moooi makes its presence felt at the Salone del Mobile, showcasing new designs that challenge the limits of interior narratives. In parallel, the Dutch design brand announces the opening of a permanent store in Milan that will feature an installation by creative Andrés Reisinger. At the world’s largest design event, visitors found artworks by Ada Sokół and sculptures by Antoine Peters displayed in the various Moooi units in Milan.

Haybale Lounge Chair with Foot Stool, by Nicholas Baker

The Haybale Lounge Chair with Foot Stool transforms stacked hay bales into a sculpture of comfort. For the design, Nicholas Baker drew inspiration from his childhood memories of farm life, reinventing the practicality of hay tied into a modular seating system with a distinct architectural presence.

Beta Living Pebble

Designed to turn lighting into a living work of art, Moooi presents the Beta Living Pebble. This plug-and-play accessory provides smooth movement and rotations, as well as organic dimming that mimics the rhythms of nature. Controlled by the Moooi Wireless Wall Switch, the Living Pebble makes light fluid, responsive, and alive.

Extinct Animal Fabric

The Extinct Animal Fabric collection celebrates the wonders of nature through soft, textured lines combined with complex details. These fabrics, added to the existing collection, bring depth and dimension to any project, transforming interiors into immersive landscapes.

Boucle

The Boucle collection deeply explores the possibilities of textures. With premium wool blends, each fabric balances softness and durability. Ivory is elegant for any project, while Smoke adds a melancholic depth. Fossil gives interiors a warm and earthy touch, and Sage features a soft tone inspired by nature.
