Items that showcase authentic Brazilian design have become synonymous with luxury and elegance among connoisseurs in the field. With this in mind, a collaboration between
Misci , a Brazilian clothing, accessories and furniture brand, and
Estúdio Orth , a design and interiors firm, has become the new darling of the moment, with a new product that encapsulates the country's modernist vibe: the
Pilão armchair .
The piece is inspired by the traditional pestle and mortar, a classic item in
Brazilian kitchens . In addition, the armchair combines contemporary design, ergonomics and quality Brazilian materials.
The Pilão armchair comes in two versions:
Gold and Silver . The first is made of brass metal and the other is made of aluminum as metal. Both have three bases made of
turned solid wood and reinforced by an exposed structure made of solid metal.
The
natural leather seat, positioned on the bases by means of a fitting, is suspended and incorporates the armchair in a fluid and organic way.
Cast metal rings are inserted at the ends and hold the composition together. The piece will be on display at the Misci store in Shopping Cidade Jardim, located on the 2nd floor in the
Home & Design expansion corridor, and also at the
Estúdio Orth showroom, in Pacaembu.
