At the Milan Design Week 2026, Moooi celebrates its 25th anniversary with a presentation that synthesizes past, present, and future in an immersive sensory experience. Installed at Superstudio Più — the venue of the brand’s first participation in the event —, the project adopts a silver aesthetic as a guiding thread, creating a project that oscillates between the dreamlike and the futuristic.

The installation unfolds as a spatial narrative, in which reflective surfaces, dramatic lighting, and scenographic compositions envelop the visitor in an almost cinematic atmosphere. Influenced by choreographer Yoann Bourgeois’s investigations into balance and gravity, the proposal incorporates movement and suspension as visual metaphors for the brand’s trajectory, between tradition and experimentation.

At the center of the presentation is the new collection, which brings together launches, previews, and reinterpretations of classics. Highlights include the modular Peaks Sofa by Yves Béhar, and the Future Fossils rug collection by Kilian Vos, which explores the intersection between CGI and textile design. In the previews, pieces such as the Urchina Light lamp by Roderick Vos, and the Push Light by Paul Cocksedge appear, along with the architectural lighting system Powerline, developed by Marcel Wanders in partnership with Intra Lighting.

The exhibition also includes new developments and reissues, such as the Paper Chandelier 2.0 (Studio Job), Common Comrades in smoked bamboo (Neri&Hu), and variations of Meshmatics Wall/Ceiling (Rick Tegelaar). Among the special projects, the kinetic installation Pino Tree by Andrés Reisinger and the commemorative 25th Anniversary Tapestry by Mart Veldhuis stand out, visually translating the brand’s universe.

Complementing the presentation are the Monumental Moments (Moooi Wallcovering with Arte) wallcovering collection, the Sandy Silver (with ABK Group) ceramic surface, and the Moooi Weer – Tin Age project, which revisits pieces from the archive with a matte metallic finish inspired by tin.
