Until April 9, the city of Madrid, capital of Spain, hosts the sixth edition of the international
Madrid Design Festival , which celebrates the excellence and importance of design as an essential tool for improving people's daily lives. This year, the event presents the exhibitions
SLOW and
Natural Connections , and has Seville as a guest city, and includes exhibitions, meetings, workshops and conferences, as well as a wide-ranging program of activities led by designers, experts and professionals from the sector. The festival aims to showcase the work of creators whose ideas contribute to the
development of new paradigms and draw inspiration from the work of
key figures in the history of design . "In short, it will be a showcase of projects that meet a common goal that has accompanied the Festival since its founding: to redesign the world," writes MDF23.
Competitions, contests, challenges, prizes and four professional
workshops with prominent Spanish and international designers will complete the programme for this edition, which is aimed at both the youngest and most experienced designers.
Seville's participation
The participation of these designers and artists is marked by an
extensive program , which includes an exhibition that surveys current Sevillian design; a meeting with the greatest exponents of different disciplines; and a series of activities that will geographically unite the designers and their studios along the Seville-Madrid axis.
About Fiesta Design

Institución Libre de Enseñanza , whose building will be transformed into a celebration of design called
Fiesta Design . There, a
meeting point will take shape where professionals, brands and the public will have the chance to meet and interact in an environment dedicated to the design experience.
