MAD Architects installed a
12.5 meter high cube in the courtyard of the University of Milan for
Milan Design Week . '
Momentum ', as the installation was called, was constructed with ETFE – a
plastic polymer often used as an alternative to glass ; whose surface, during the day, reflects the university’s surroundings. At night, the cube lights up completely, with nine lights set to pulse at intervals similar to the rhythm of the heart.
