Visitors to
CASACOR São Paulo 2023 will notice the
portable lamps that are scattered throughout the exhibition spaces : they can be found on side tables, shelves and even on the bar counter. Combining Italian and
clean design, the pieces illuminate and add charm to various types of environments – and best of all:
they don’t require any wires !
The exclusive models are from
Zaff Design , a national partner of
Zafferano , a brand originally from Venice, Italy, which arrives in Brazil with a technology that allows the
rechargeable battery to last 10 to 15 hours , with 5 hours of charging. In addition,
they are dimmable and waterproof .
The pieces signed by Italian designer
Federico de Majo combine the art of glass processing with science and are inspired by basic geometric shapes and the fine craftsmanship of artisans of the past.
And, because they are wireless, they become practical accessories that
can be used at everything from outdoor events to intimate gatherings . Due to their durability,
they are also recommended for commercial spaces , such as restaurants, bars and hotels.
“We fell in love with the design and practicality of the product. We didn’t think twice about opening this market in Brazil. Today, renowned establishments around the world already have the lamp, such as Hotel Faena, The Setai Hotel and the Cipriani chain, and we see that Brazil has great potential for this type of business”, explains

Roberto Civita . In Brazil, the pieces are already part of the decor of restaurants such as Grupo Nino, Notiê, Makoto, Ristorantino, Mani, Il Capitale among others, as well as hotels such as Fasano Itaim, Unique and Copacabana Palace.
Zaff Design arrived in Brazil in 2022 and, in addition to its
e-commerce , it has a store in the recently opened
Home & Design area of Shopping Cidade Jardim, in São Paulo. The
Zafferano brand is also a sponsor of the
2023 Venice Architecture Biennale , in a joint action with the prestigious
Venetian Foundation , and is part of nine areas dedicated to rest and relaxation, showing that the lamp can be used both on four walls and in an outdoor environment.
