Lisbon Design Week & Roca Exhibition This exhibition is the result of Open Call, an unprecedented initiative within LDW for young designers under 35, sponsored by
ROCA . The Open Call had 55 entries, analyzed by a jury who selected the pieces that will be part of the exhibition in the cultural space of
Roca Gallery Lisboa .
Bucólica, collection of Oficina Marques with Andringa Studio The creative duo
Gezo Marques and
José Aparício Gonçalves launch a new collection of decorative and utilitarian ceramic pieces for dining tables. The concept was born from a dialogue between
Oficina Marques and Andringa Studio , by interior designer
Rita Andringa . The gallery will be transformed into a sensorial experience that highlights the intersection between product design and environmental design, providing visitors with a unique immersion. The collection explores the idea of bucolic beauty in the realm of nature and in all its essence, as in the play A Midsummer Night's Dream, by William Shakespeare.
De La Espada Exhibition at OJO Gallery Portuguese furniture brand
De La Espada will exhibit at
OJO Gallery , an art gallery dedicated to contemporary art made using ancient techniques. Victor Marqué , a French artist based in Porto, curated by
Marie de Carvalho , owner of the gallery.

Our Earth Exhibition (Sanda Vuckovic/Maria Terracota/CASACOR)
Curated by
Sam Baron – a French designer based in Portugal since 2001 – and created especially for LDW, the exhibition will occupy the
Manuel Aires Mateus Archive . On a single table, 14 m long, a selection of terracotta pieces will be displayed, one of the most relevant materials today, as, being of local origin, it requires little energy to burn, in addition to reflecting habits and style life of the past and future, with regard to the regions from which it comes.
Where to stay during LDW

Tivoli Avenida Liberdade is located just a few steps from the best restaurants and boutiques in Lisbon's Luxury District and has a total of 285 luxury suites and rooms. A highlight of the hotel is the SEEN Lisboa restaurant, which features art deco-inspired decor.
The hotel has just opened the new large-scale exhibition 'The forest does not ask for passage', a solo show by Japanese-Brazilian artist Nathan Kunigami from Kokuga Estúdio de Flores . Using the concepts of Ikebana, the ancient Japanese art of floral arrangements, the
