The IMPERMANÊNCIA exhibition presents its second chapter during the DW! São Paulo Design Week. The show, open to the public since last Thursday, occupies townhouses on Rua Cônego Eugênio Leite, in Pinheiros, bringing together 63 artists, photographers, and designers around the theme “Nothing new under the sun: always the same thing, only now different”.

Conceived by Francio de Holanda, Paulo Goldstein, Antonia Almeida, Fabio Esteves, Marcelo Stefanovicz, Pedro Leal, and Miranda Seliana, the initiative reinforces an independent stance within design week. The proposal stems from the idea that the creative process is always a reinvention: new technologies and tools emerge, but the essence of the object — and the experience of its maker — continue to shape the outcome.

Developed out of meetings among the participants, the exhibition prioritizes experimentation and authorship. Each artist presents a work, many of them new, in a show that moves away from the traditional curatorial format and presents itself as a collective provocation about the creative act.
