Social isolation has intensified the practice of many Brazilians to
exercise at home , and even invest in
robust gym equipment for the home . Imagine being able to count on a piece that, in addition to helping with physical activity, also serves as an ally in decoration? This is the proposal of
Fuorivista Bike . Commissioned by
Elite , an Italian cycling accessories brand, the project was carried out by the
Adriano Design office , which was challenged to create an
exercise bike with a glass steering wheel and a
beech wood frame to achieve sophisticated equipment without compromising on of its functionality.
"The Fuoripista Bike speaks a new language of well-being and exercise, infusing performance values into a sophisticated design approach with strong aesthetic appeal," says Elite.
The
bicycle frame was made of beech wood and coated with a protective layer. The pedals,
levers and buttons were developed with aluminum and stainless steel. The
bicycle handlebars and the saddle have flexible leather , which allows the
quality of the material is not compromised when the seat is adjusted to a certain height.
“Adriano Design chose valuable materials and designed an essential silhouette for the bicycle to fit into luxury contexts, both domestic and professional,” added the Elite store.
Technology was also one of the investments made by Adriano Design. From a digital panel,
user data is monitored and they can also be connected to a community for
motivation and support in their exercises . Source: Dezeen
