Vilaville Arquitetura - Zahir Bathroom. Organic shapes are more present than ever. Rounded shapes came with everything at
CASACOR São Paulo 2022 and square shapes were practically left aside. Whether in headboards, furniture or even carpentry, this finish gains strength and brings a much more casual look. Below, we have separated some examples that prove this trend and how it was explored in different decoration styles:
Mirrors
Mirrors were the star of this trend. Several unusual and round shapes stood out at the São Paulo exhibition. Carolina Scarpelli and
Beatriz Quinelato are examples of professionals who used organic materials to bring a more natural element and sinuous shapes to their projects.

Round furniture?

Headboards and sofas were also not left out. Several professionals have brought this unique shape to make projects more dynamic and surprising. After so many years of seeing rectangular headboards and pointy sofas, exploring organic shapes brings a totally new feeling.
Not even the carpentry escaped
Circulation ends up benefiting from this new trend, since curved shapes allow for better movement, in addition to bringing a lot of delicacy to projects. Even carpentry was not left out. In the project designed by Intown Arquitetura, specialists Alexandre Gedeon and Hugo Schwartz opted for a slatted panel with rounded corners that made all the difference in the layout of the space.

Rugs
The
rugs have taken on a much more delicate shape that allows for several ways of exploring. In the project designed by
Ricardo Abreu , a tapestry that plays with organic shapes and squares is an important highlight that brings the architect's creativity to the project.
Wesley Lemos also adopted the idea, and not only in the rugs, but also in the paintings on the wall, the sofa itself, the coffee table and much more. The space is focused on well-being, and opting for rounded shapes brought a greater lightness to the project.
Tables and benches
(Gabriela Daltro / CASACOR)
Rounded tables are here to stay. It's true that round tables have been around for a long time, the difference is that the projects signed by the
CASACOR team brought rounded pieces from the "legs", with unparalleled textures and coverings, as well as models that play with asymmetry, bringing a sense of freedom to the project:
