More than 300 exhibitors are gathered for the
21st edition of
Expo Revestir , held at São Paulo Expo until March 17 (Friday), bringing a combination of experiences, content, design, trends and inspirations to the architecture, design and decoration market. Known for being the largest coatings and finishing event in Latin America, Expo Revestir occupies an area of
70,000 m² – twice the size previously recorded – and, with so much to see, you may not know where to start. But don't worry:
we have selected below the launches of Expo Revestir 2023 that you cannot miss. Check them out! 1. Portinari
Inspired by various forms of art,
Portinari 's coverings for Expo Revestir 2023 awaken a multitude of emotions. The brand presents
12 new collections with the concept '
The art of being human ', which translate into pieces that highlight the way in which the seven arts act to bring out feelings of enchantment, calm, happiness and nostalgia in people. Portinari is also bringing six new slabs and five collection
upgrades to the fair. The new products in the ceramic coatings portfolio will be presented at
Cidade Dexco – an exclusive exhibition space that features, in 2,400 m², the launches of the brands that make up Dexco – Deca, Portinari, Duratex, Castelatto, Ceusa and Durafloor.
Nildo José for Portinari
Portinari is also launching a new
collaboration with architect
Nildo José during Revestir. Nildo's sensitive approach gives rise to the
Maracangalha Collection , which exudes Brazilianness and the identity of the Brazilian people, whether through music, ancestral architecture – with its colorful houses, colonial tiles and stone paving –, or affection, activated by touch, smells, flavors and childhood memories. All the pieces in the collection are composed of
elements that were once the context of an experience and today are central to the inspiration of a warm design that awakens emotion.
The collaboration between Portinari and the NJ+ office team has a history and began at
CASACOR , where they met to create the brand’s environment for the São Paulo edition of the show, Sertão Portinari. “Our partnership began at CASACOR and was very successful. Both we at NJ+ and Portinari have a desire to talk about design with soul. This search converged and transformed into the Maracangalha Collection, which expresses our desire to investigate Brazil, our culture, the plurality of our people and our individuality”, comments Nildo José. The Maracangalha Collection was the champion in the categories Porcelain Design, Best Porcelain and Best Porcelain at the Fair at the Expo Revestir awards, which took place last Tuesday (14).
2. Duratex
Duratex , the largest producer of industrialized wood panels in the Southern Hemisphere, brings the Expressão Collection to the 21st Expo Revestir – an invitation for everyone to see
the place they live as a reflection of their own personality . The idea is to provoke questions: what does each corner of your home express about you? And, above all, what would you like your space to show about who you are? Comprising twelve new patterns, focused on the furniture industry and designed to reflect the influence of human behavior on home decor, which is increasingly
natural ,
authentic and seen as a
refuge , the collection adds new tones to Duratex's portfolio, complementing the Desperte Line, which brought yellows, greens and blues.
3. Deca
To make the bathroom more welcoming,
Deca adds a variety of colors, shapes and styles to its portfolio that help enhance physical well-being and reflect our personality and aspirations for comfort, practicality and beauty. The Deca You series of launches offers a complete solution with
faucets, controls, showers and accessories in different shapes, sizes and colors. The line redefines the versatility and aesthetics of bathrooms and outdoor areas with simple shapes and also features the
Dynamic Colors shades – Dynamic Lilac, Dynamic Blue, Dynamic Gold, Dynamic Peach and Dynamic White –, exclusive to this line. In addition, Deca is introducing a
new line of faucets and single-lever mixers that complement the brand's wide range of sinks and accessories for kitchens and gourmet areas. The
Urban version features a design that prioritizes functionality, adding aesthetic attributes that make it more intuitive to use. In the
Gourmet version, with a flexible spout in different shades, the user can also direct the water jet wherever they want, making it easier to prepare food and clean the countertop.
4. Ceusa
A mix of colors, prints and accessories mark
Ceusa 's collections for 2023, reflecting the theme “
What Does Your Home Wear ?”. There are
17 new collections with the concept 'Express Your Styling', which reveal and highlight each person's personality also in the world of home and living, exploring to the fullest the
various options that transform a home into a unique space . With creativity as a guide, Ceusa proposes deeper collections with bases and special pieces combined to
create unique styles and particular universes , and brings the power of
styling as an ally when it comes to dressing the home. Just like in fashion, the collections are perfect for mixing and matching, creating surprising results in the composition of the collections, which represent accessories, prints, colors and neutral tones. Ceusa also won last Tuesday (14) in the categories Best Tile and Ceramic Covering Design with the Easy and Community Decor collections.
5. Cosentino
Architect
Juliana Pippi brings
Cosentino ’s project to life at Expo Revestir, bringing together striking sensory elements and emphasizing the visual, tactile and olfactory spheres, with the texture of the materials and through the “
Aromatic Kitchen ” proposal. With a 23-year career and elected as one of the best designers in Brazil by the World Design Rankings, Juliana Pippi creates a
converging space of relaxation among earthy tones. The
Aromatic Kitchen Island is one of the highlights of the stand. The piece, which is enhanced by the indirect lighting of the space, is part of the Kraftizen collection and uses Dekton® technology, known for its high resistance to fire, friction, scratches and stains. On this occasion, the counter will be one of the points of sensory stimulation, in addition to also serving as the setting for a themed menu prepared by
chefs Juliana and
Renata , from
Consuelo Cuisine , during the fair. Thus, the stand draws a link between the region of Andalusia, a metropolitan area made up of hills, rivers and agricultural fields on the southern coast of Spain, where the city of Almeria and the Cosentino factory are located, and the Arab villages that were in these surroundings for almost 800 years.
