ETEL , a leading company in Brazilian design pieces, partner of the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation and Studio Superluna, brings to the
Lake Como Design Festival 2023 the work of one of the most iconic Brazilian architects,
Oscar Niemeyer .
The residence, "
Casa das Canoas ", one of the most notable works in the architect's career, was the main one chosen to represent Brazilian modernist design in the exhibition.
Curated by Lissa Carmona, CEO of ETEL, and Superluna Studio, the event will unveil a
meticulously selected collection of furniture pieces , each with its own unique shape and graceful curves that echo Niemeyer's architectural vision.
The exhibition will be a compelling fusion of Niemeyer’s legacy and the grandeur of the “
Sala Specchi ” at
Villa Olmo in Como . Highlighted creations include the
High Chair, the Low Chair and the Rio Rocking Chair – original ETEL editions, licensed and certified by the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation.
