DW! Design Weekend 2023: 5 reasons not to miss this edition

The 12th edition of São Paulo Design Week , Design Weekend, will take place between March 11th and 19th, 2022 , in the capital of São Paulo. The DW! festival aims to show how essential design is in people's daily lives. This importance is presented in products and services for homes, workplaces and entertainment, highlighting the strength of designers and their original creations "made in Brazil".

One of the new features of this 2023 edition is that the events will have different natures (in-person, digital or hybrid), as well as different types – therefore, the program ranges from exhibitions, installations to lectures and tours , among others. 1. Many participating brands

This edition is full of brands! In total, there will be 114 participants from different areas: architecture , décor , design and art . Among them, we can mention: Tapetah, Jader Almeida , Galeria Botânica, Florence, Refúgios Urbanos, IESP, Fast Shop, By Kamy, among many others.

2. Different neighborhoods of SP

DW!'s schedule is divided into 7 districts in São Paulo: Centro, Paulista, Higienópolis, Jardins, Ibirapuera, Moema and Zona Sul . In addition, of course, there is a digital district so that people outside the city can also participate in the design week.

Among the favorites, our highlight goes to the Rosenbaum Fair , which, in this edition, occupies the shopping arcade of the iconic Zarvos Condominium , a development that connects Avenida São Luiz with Rua da Consolação. Design and art go hand in hand during DW!, which is why they are closer than ever before this year! Bontempo, for example, is celebrating its 45th anniversary in a special way: it is transforming its showroom on Alameda Gabriel into an art gallery during DW!.
