CASACOR exclusively had access to the details of the exhibition “From Object to City: design in everything” which is part of the DW circuit! 2024

Participating in the DW! São Paulo Design Week 2024 circuit, Lar Center , the first themed shopping mall in São Paulo and a project that is part of Cidade Center Norte , brings to the North Zone the contemporary exhibition “From Object to City: design in everything” , which aims to raise awareness of the design of elements present in everyday life.
Located in a space of over 1200 m² on the ground floor of Shopping Lar Center , the show, which will be open to the public from March 15 to 31 , stands out as the largest exhibition at DW! SP and features expography by Studio Garoa and curation by architect and journalist specializing in design Winnie Bastian .
For the exhibition, the curator brought “innovation” as the main criterion for selecting elements, whether in terms of technology , use of new materials and even in terms of items with different shapes and functions.

Finally, the urban-scale core houses elements that provide mobility, contemplation, fun and encourage interaction with the city. Its composition includes everything from a folding electric bicycle to a 3D-printed concrete flower box. Complementing the experience, each of the exhibit's scales will have at least one sensory installation and will feature stage lighting that promises to stir visitors' senses.
“I focused this exhibition on the infinite possibilities of design that exist in our daily lives. The idea with the exhibition is to look at objects through a new lens,” Winnie commented on the experience.
The DW! São Paulo Design Week 2024 festival will take place at various locations throughout the city between March 14 and 24 , and the exhibitions will be free of charge.
