Translating the essence of Brazil was Maria Fernanda Paes de Barros 's desire when she launched the Yankatu project. The wooden pieces express the designer's values, who believes in art as one of the main ways to value the wealth hidden in the interior of the country, preserving traditional crafts. Thus, with each project, Maria Fernanda immerses herself in a region, in the people and in their crafts. Unique and timeless, the design combines ancient techniques with the aim of awakening curiosity about Brazilian culture and roots, through a sensitive look at national identity. In 2013, after more than 20 years dedicated to interior design, Maria Fernanda discovered in furniture design a new way of telling stories, and began to dedicate herself to researching traditional crafts, in pieces that combine art, delicacy, inspiration and memories. Dudu Bertholini has been a fashion designer, stylist and consultant since 2003, when he founded the urban swimwear brand NEON, together with Rita Comparato. His unique style and exclusive prints have become a reference in elegance among fashion professionals. Brazilian plurality, its natural beauty, people and the way they present themselves to the world are Dudu's main source of inspiration, and his pieces celebrate the diversity of bodies and gender fluidity. His trademark is tropicality and a deeply Brazilian essence.
