Between May 28 and June 1, the fair MADE – Market, Art, Design was held in São Paulo, focused on collectible design, as well as highlighting national designers and studios, revealing new talents, and expanding the sector's culture to thousands of people. With the theme Substrate: from idea to matter, the event presented new and original works from 50 studios and designers from different parts of Brazil, including veterans and newcomers. Noteworthy is the variety of materials and techniques, as well as inspirations drawn from memories and nature, as you can check in our selection just below!

Glass Subtleties

MADE 2025 Releases

Luminária Selva, de Carol Gay (Marcos Cimardi/CASACOR)

Created by designer Carol Gay, the lamp Selva symbolizes a call to consciousness. With one, three, or five pendants, the piece proposes a pause to reflect on the urgency of preserving the Amazon. The loss of biodiversity, the advancement of deforestation, and the imminent extinction of numerous species make this theme unavoidable. Thus, the individual pieces represent Brazil's fauna and flora, especially from the Amazon region, to highlight the importance of preserving and maintaining the biodiversity of this biome.

Like a Wave

Releases of MADE 2025

Coleção Calmaria, por Ádamo Thiers (divulgação/CASACOR)

The Calmaria line by Ádamo Thiers consists of side tables, benches, and a coffee table — all designed on a smaller scale to make transport and logistics more feasible, as well as to propose versatile furniture that can circulate between different rooms of the house. Some of these pieces even share the same structural base: a bench is born from the base of a dining table. The shapes explore curves, evoking the many moods of the sea throughout the day. The delicate appearance is due to stained wood, designed to keep the grains visible, allowing the nature of the material to remain highlighted, albeit in new colors. The predominant colors are blues and greens - shades that inhabit the designer's daily life and connect with his personal landscape in Fortaleza.

Smooth Curves

Releases from MADE 2025

Banco Pupa, por Vinicius Siega (Guilherme Jordani/CASACOR)

Part of the Sense of Self collection, designed by Vinicius Siega, the bench Pupa features soft, curved outlines made of sculpted solid wood. The piece was designed as a suspended record of the transformation between immature and mature stages, where its faces and crevices create the sensation that something new is about to emerge. It is made of solid tauari and measures 48 cm x 45 cm x 45 cm.

Sea Mysteries

Launches from MADE 2025

Luminária Anêmona, da Dua.dsg e Una Ambientes (divulgação/CASACOR)

The Anemone lamp is the result of a creative collaboration between dua.dsg and Una Ambientes and evokes an underwater garden. Inspired by sea anemones, beings that inhabit the abysses, the creation transforms the most delicate and vital aspects of nature into form and light. Every element that composes it carries symbolism. The base, made of machined aluminum, for example, refers to the basal disc of the anemone — its anchoring point. Above it, handcrafted ceramic vases spring up like organic columns. But it is in the bronze pistils that the piece truly reveals its poetic movement. Molded through the lost wax process — like real jewels —, these metallic tentacles seem to dance in slow motion, conducting light with grace. Inside, luminous hearts: LED bulbs developed exclusively for the project, with warm color temperature, recall the inner glow of marine creatures.

Furniture-sculpture

Launches of MADE 2025

Mesa Pigmento, por Patricia Faragone (divulgação/CASACOR)

A glass-making expert, designer Patricia Faragone signs the collection Unfoldings. The new line was born from experimentation and mastery of blowing and casting techniques in glass and dyeing in natural fabric. The designer makes extensive use of techniques and aesthetics present in art deco and baroque styles, translating these languages for the contemporary world. Among the new items is the Pigment table, with rounded shapes that seem to float.

Embroidered Seats

MADE 2025 Releases

Linha Bordado, por Estúdio Pedro Luna (Pedro Ocanhas/CASACOR)

Extension of the Embroidery line, the series Boa Noite, by Estúdio Pedro Luna, pays homage to the Boa Noite embroidery, a treasure of Brazilian popular art. Cultivated for nearly a century by the embroiderers of Ilha do Ferro in the hinterland of Alagoas, this technique consists of unraveling white linen and recomposing it with delicate floral motifs. The result is a rigorously geometric design, guided by the very weave of the fabric, which directly dialogues with the studio's work, known for developing creations from common use objects.

New Life to Materials

Releases from MADE 2025

Coleção Escamas, por Sofia Venetucci (divulgação/CASACOR)

Designed by Sofia Venetucci and produced in partnership with Virô, the collection Scale combines the repurposing of materials with an approach to new textile uses in furniture design. With a metal structure, the benches are covered with pieces of felt, originally used as temporary flooring at corporate events. The texture of the pieces is built through cutting hundreds of felt circles grouped together. The result is a dense, three-dimensional surface that resembles the organic overlap of scales.

Affective Memories

MADE Launches 2025

Fornada, por Marcus Camargo (divulgação/CASACOR)

The designer Marcus Camargo sought inspiration in his memories to create the Fornada cabinet. The piece refers to the shapes of baking pies — a typical dish from the city of Goiás Velho, the professional's hometown — and pays homage to the repeated gestures of cooks and ceramicists, where molding, baking, and serving intertwine in a practical and affectionate gesture. The wood makes up the structure, while the ceramics appear as relief and texture, evoking the arrangement of pie trays just out of the oven, also serving as handles.

Hinterland and Sea

Made Releases 2025

O Sertão Vai Virar Mar, por FStudio (divulgação/CASACOR)

The F.Studio brought to MADE the collection The Hinterland Will Turn to Sea, representing a poetic dialogue between the aridity of the hinterland and the sliding waters of rivers and the ocean. Metal, stone, wood, and glass compose the pieces Barquinho, Peixinho, Horizonte, Coral, Equatorial, and Cruzeiro do Sul, which challenge the imagination.

Geometric Plans

MADE 2025 Releases

Poltrona Tangram, por André Grippi (divulgação/CASACOR)

Featuring geometric planes that resemble a puzzle, the Tangram armchair, designed by André Grippi, displays crossbars that attach outside the upholstered seat and support surface. The rear legs rise to take on the role of backrest, receiving natural straw, forming a single transparent plane that contrasts with the strong presence of wood.
