A walking tour of one of São Paulo's coolest neighborhoods took place last weekend, between November 11th and 12th. Design na Barra Funda visited ateliers, studios and antique shops in the neighborhood known for its industrial warehouses, where eclectic bars and clubs mix with contemporary art galleries to discover the best of São Paulo's creative scene.
Over 16 stops along the subway tracks, the circuit maps the common interests and goals of a community strengthened around design. In addition, Design na Barra Funda gives visibility to the processes, research and products of creatives on a local and national scale. Below, we list 5 highlights from the 3rd edition of Design na Barra Funda! Rain Studio

Formed by product designer Mariana Ramos and architect Ricardo Innecco, Estúdio Rain was founded in 2015 and, since then, has managed to establish its own language where formal simplicity and constructive rigor coexist. In Barra Funda, the studio's headquarters functions both as an office and an exhibition space. Humberto da Mata

Run by Fábio Matheiski , Paulo Bega and Luciano Tartalia , Verniz is a store located in Barra Funda that combines classic Brazilian design with industrial pieces and unusual objects in its collections. During the circuit, the store opened the exhibition Tiago Tormin + Verniz; which celebrates the creative participation of Tormin, a visual artist whose works identify the innermost part of Brazil, in the creation of objects from recycled materials stored by Verniz.
