Designer pieces are the perfect option for those looking
to instantly elevate their interior design . The careful designs, which reveal
surprising lines and contours , and the use of noble materials – such as wood, leather and linen – in processes extremely valuable production materials are the combo that
guarantees the timelessness of these pieces. And there's nothing like relying on the
great masters of design , such as Sérgio Rodrigues and Arthur Casas, to ensure that the environment is validated as a treasure that deserves due attention. And the architects and interior designers at
CASACOR know this very well. Proof of this is at
CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2021 , where signature design plays a role as important in the composition of environments as any other element. The careful selection reveals a
preference for national design and for pieces that stand the test of time without losing their value . Check out 5 spaces below that reveal the
most iconic design pieces from CASACOR SC 2021!
1. Ramona Armchair and Coffee Table
(Denilson Machado/CASACOR)
The
Yugen Deca House is a conceptual project that revisits the "yugen" concept of traditional Japanese aesthetics. This is the expression for depth, for that which cannot be translated, for the incomprehensible and the abstract that moves from philosophy to art. In the integrated house, designed by Gabriel Bordin, all corners of the "L" shaped plan interact. The unusual way in which the
Ramona armchair by André Grippi was positioned connects with the living room, while the room opens onto the anteroom and the kitchen and dining room. On the wall next to it, the piece
Coffee Table , by
Arthur Houses , creates a sense of visual continuity between environments.
With a sculptural design, wall-mounted basin mixers designed by
Jader Almeida in a Matte Black finish add movement to the water feature installed at the entrance to the space. Placed on a slate surface, the mixers appear to emerge from the wall like natural elements.
2. Beg Chair and Horned Armchair
(Fabio Jr. Severo/CASACOR)
Just like the Yugen House, Japanese aesthetics also guide the
Suna Reveev Room , designed by the
Osvaldo Segundo & Arquitetos Associados office. In Japanese, "Suna" means sand and, as the name suggests, this room seeks feelings of calm and fluidity. The architecture brings different textures and natural elements, united by light tones and sober lines. In the space appears the
Beg Chair, a piece by Sérgio Rodrigues originally created for the meeting table of the Banco do Estado da Guanabara, in 1967, and relaunched in 2005. Made of wood and with upholstered seat and back, it is extremely comfortable. Two units of the armchairs are in the room, located in the dining area together with the Bell table.
"A large part of the objects are the result of research on the roads of Minas Gerais, Ceará, Alagoas, Bahia, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. I made a kind of pilgrimage with the intention of sensitizing the eye and filling the luggage with the beauty of simplicity. I searched in the hands of artisans and artisans stories to reinvigorate them in other plots in the environment", says
Juliana Pippi , architect in charge of the sensorial loft
Camadas Brasileiras . In addition to the appeal of craftsmanship, the space makes use of renowned design items, such as
the Brava dining table, the Ella chairs and the Arbo kitchen/bar system – all three of which are designed by
Jader Almeida . Still in the dining area,
Trancoso pendants from Estúdio Itens are a hit.
In the living room, the
Camadas sofa designed by the architect herself for Studio Ambientes catches the eye. Yet another piece by
Jader Almeida steals the show: the
May Armchair , a comfortable piece to look at and sit on, generous in ergonomics and touch, whose converging lines invite the eye to wander along their tangents.
4. Lina armchair, Adobe lamp and Argola coat rack
Mariana Maisonnave 's sense-stimulating environment reflects on the act of breathing. The
Respiro gourmet living room reflects the need to pause and become aware in order to find balance. Minimalism is embodied in the presence of essential pieces, geometric lines and neutral colors, where comfort and freshness meet. Versatile and functional, the
Lina armchair, designed by Suíte Arquitetos , stands out in the living room. The mint color is essential to compose the look and add even more freshness and harmony to the environment.
"Opting for
different models and textures guarantees modernity and completes the harmony of the living room", says Maisonnave. Completing the decor are the
Argola coat rack and the Adobe lamp , designed by
Guilherme Wentz , which give the living room even more sophistication.
5. Leme Armchair and Gisele Armchair
In the 70 m²
Veredas Autoria Design , it is possible to contemplate Brazilianness through the decoration planned down to the last detail. In this project,
Natália Xavier intended to pay homage to Brazilian designers and their works. The space is named after the work
Grande Sertão: Veredas, by Guimarães Rose . The design pieces, which reveal a precious curation of national design. An example of this are the
Leme armchair and bench, by designer Alfio Lisi . With a sensual design, which gives the appearance of movement, the pieces are made with wood in small pieces, turned and fixed by traditional fitting systems.
Other internationally renowned designers take center stage in the space, with pieces such as the
Square coffee table and cube side table by Arthur Casas and the Sestan sofa by Ronald Sasson . Special mention goes to the
Gisele armchair , designed by Aristeu Pires, who won the 21st Design Award. Brazilian House Museum.
