"Litoral" is the new collection of lamps designed by Maurício Arruda in an unprecedented partnership with Maurício D'Avila , founder of Geo Luz & Cerâmica, which was presented during Design Weekend in São Paulo . There are five ceramic lampshades that aim to bring the coastal atmosphere for indoors. With three different sizes and four color options – coffee, terracotta, ecru and cappuccino –, the lamps represent a revival of traditional lampshades with a ceramic base and fabric dome.

“I was always looking for lighting options with a more vintage DNA , with a ceramic base and fabric shade, something that harked back to the 80s. I did a lot of research and found several beach house projects. That's when this partnership evolved and the idea was born. from the Litoral collection”, says architect and designer Maurício Arruda, from the CASACOR cast.
With the aim of bringing a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere into the home, the collection is inspired by the beaches that were popular in the 80s : Paraty, Guarujá, Guaratuba, Santos and Búzios.

At DW , the pieces were displayed in an area of 250 m² in Espaço Branco, with scenography designed by Arruda: "we explored the diversity of shapes of the lamps, we used a white base to highlight the pieces and a sand floor. We composed the scene with beach chairs and loungers. We want to bring the coast into the city of São Paulo ,” he explains.
