Below, the expert shared some tips: learned throughout the career for those who want to start in the area (whether as a hobby or to become a professional):
  • Look for good courses to start with; if there is no place, look for online courses;
  • If you have the possibility of taking face-to-face classes, do so, because the exchange of knowledge and experiences is very important in this art;
  • Set aside hours in your day or week to practice because manual skills require dedicated time to develop and improve;
  • Set aside a space at home for this and see if there are items from your daily routine that can be used for ceramics (many items used to create ceramic pieces are the same or similar to kitchen utensils);
  • Last but not least, have fun first! Doing this work helps you have more patience, resilience and connection with nature.
