“Since the benches would be developed especially for the Theater, we thought of simpler furniture and sought to use materials that would allow for a good finish and quick execution. We decided that solid wood would be the starting point for our design, for the following reasons: familiarity with the material, used in many of our projects, ease of obtaining raw materials, possibility of developing the project without involving the industry, at first, and agility in getting from prototype to final design. Only one other element was added to the design: iron, a material that would allow us to add a little more complexity and lightness to the design, without sacrificing simplicity and ease of execution.” 2. Metal headboard by Junior Piacesi
The headboard made of an illuminated metal structure is one of the most desired objects in the Hotel Room . 3. Window Shelf by Cristina Menezes
The Window Shelf was created from the need to have a piece of furniture to house the spices and ingredients that would be used by chefs during cooking classes. Since the Concept Kitchen is entirely horizontal and offers a great view of the Pampulha lagoon, a completely open shelf was created (hence the name window shelf). 4. Hexagon Niche by Camila Ferreira
The table top is made of reclaimed wood and the legs are made of steel. 6. Metal desk by Melina Mundim
“The gold metal desk was designed for the space with the intention of bringing a bit of art deco - which uses a lot of metal and gold. I also wanted a piece that was light and stylish at the same time. That's why it has fine lines without losing its design", says the professional. 7. Bar Set, Counter and Stools by Angélica Araújo
The pieces in the set have a black metal structure. The bar holds glasses, cups, beers and other beverages and also serves as a light source for the space and was made of MDF with white lacquer. The counter has a top in Dékton Kadum by Cosentino and the stools, which follow the design of the counter, have upholstered leather seats. 8. Dressing table by Flávia Gomes and Clena Madeira
The steel structure was painted in matte gold. The MDF drawers were lacquered in white with a high-gloss finish. 9. Bench, sideboard, desk and armchair by Ricardo Rangel
In the Integrated Office and Gallery , all the furniture was designed by architect Ricardo Rangel. The composition includes: the Joaquim bench, the sideboard, the desk, the Viva reading chair in Ipê, Peroba do Campo and straw on the back, as well as a suspended bookcase.
