BOOMSPDESIGN reached its 16th edition this Monday (13), which promises to further enrich its legacy as one of the anchor events of
DW! São Paulo Design Week . The event brings together architects and designers to celebrate and present works of art and designs that will set trends. The terrace of Copan, one of the city's most iconic buildings, served as the stage for the exhibition. modern Brazilian architecture , designed by master
Oscar Niemeyer , which has survived the hardships of time and the decline of downtown São Paulo, remaining majestic and an eternal protagonist after the revitalization of that entire area," reveals Cocenza.

But the news doesn't stop there. Honored as
BOOMSPDESIGN 2023 Designer of the Year , Italian
Francesco Maccapani Missoni will not only be present at several events, but will also design exclusive pieces and activate installations that refer to his family's heritage, which marked fashion with the zig-zag yarn pattern and the unique way of working with colors.
"It is a privilege to be able to show the Missoni family's way of dealing with colors and our weaving tradition. More than that, it is a journey back to the origins of weaving and traditional weaves, in which the variations depend on the greater or lesser width of the paper strips", comments Francesco.
