Inspiring Brazilianness and promoting good design are the premises of the partnership between Luciana Pitombo and Felipe Stracci, from the
Plantar Ideias office, and Lao Napolitano from
LAO Design , debuting at the 29th
CASACOR Rio de Janeiro .
PORTODOSNÓS is an informal gathering space, created with the pleasure of receiving and welcoming friends at home. Located in the outdoor environment, it allows visitors to recharge their batteries and take advantage of the space through hammocks and armchairs.
In the 315 m², playful experiences are offered with a series of cabins in the shape of little houses and a set of archipelagos made of colorful recycled rubber, with obstacles, spikes and nets. The space also has a lounge with furniture designed by
Plantar Ideias . The pieces combine concrete with banana fiber, in contrast to the armchairs and the Cachô sofa, made with colorful nautical rope, and the macramé screens.
Furthermore, the designers took the precaution of using materials from appropriate sources in the space. “Our proposal is to combine design with materials and processes that reflect our vision for the world we want, as a society and the environment,” explains Lao Napolitano.
