The public that visits CASACOR Minas Gerais 2023 in search of inspiration and references about living has the opportunity to get to know up close the work of a team made up of architects and designers , including a series of pieces and products created especially for each of the environments in the show. It is common for professionals to be encouraged and even invited by brands to develop exclusive designs and prototypes for their environments. In this way, CASACOR contributes to the oxygenation of the market , which is eager for new things.

Right at the entrance, in the Essência Lobby, by Life Projects , the public is already surprised by the creations of Cria Lab , a creative studio coordinated by José Lourenço. Among the highlights is the Essência bench , built with only two natural materials: a sheet of cumaru wood in an organic shape that is intercepted by 3 pieces in raw travertine , forming the bases. The use of natural materials is increasingly popular. Wood, stone, leather, natural fabrics and other elements found in nature are featured in several areas of the show. One of the new items in this edition is the line designed by Pedro Lázaro for Leform , which specializes in high-end custom furniture. The pieces can be seen in the Fireplace Room and Balcony !

For architect Cynthia Silva , who is participating in CASACOR Minas for the sixth consecutive time, creating exclusive pieces for her spaces is a source of great achievement. In 2018, when she designed the Origem Room, she designed a soapstone bathtub and the entire line of furniture for the baby's room. For this year, at Armazém Origem Minas , a project developed in partnership with Sebrae, Cynthia designed a line of ramie lamps that were produced by artisan Simone Oliveira , from Carangola (MG). Member of the Origem Minas program, the artisan recently received the Top 100 Crafts Award , a national competition promoted by Sebrae.

In the Snack Room, by Dúnia Zaidan , the architect's creativity is evident in the counter , the drinks cabinet and also the rug. Everything was designed by her in this fun and contemporary reinterpretation of the bar , a space that could not be missing from homes and which now appears with a totally contemporary touch.

During the creative process for the conceptualization of Compact Office, an intimate and welcoming office, architect Túlio Henrique invested in the development of a compact desk project, which takes advantage of the environment, becoming the protagonist of the scene. “The idea was to break down the monumentality of the shape, exploring the top with a more open angle , bringing more fluidity and better circulation to the space,” explains the architect. The piece, made of Montblanc quartzite with a matte finish, appears to float in the space.

“The weave refers to the ancestral female practice of braiding threads on different surfaces, while the design of the stool refers to the rural times of everyday life on farms,” highlights Luciana.

The pieces are being launched in partnership with Estúdio Trama , which is also present in another area of the exhibition, Varanda Café, by Adriana Gouveia .

In the Hera uma Vez environment, designed by Laura Carvalho , some pieces created by the architect precisely complement the space that evokes an atmosphere of fantasy and memories . The chaise longue , in cotton velvet, was made possible through a partnership with Amém Casa. The tables in natural stone (marble, quartz and granite), in different colors and heights, play with spatiality, adding refinement and a good dose of boldness.

In the Baby's Room, a project designed by the Moura Jabour office, two pieces created by the architects catch the attention of visitors. The first of these is the organic metal coat rack , designed by the office and produced by Boutique Férrea .

The bench, inside the shower cubicle, is also designed by the architects and was produced with an MDF top supplied by Berneck , a company that is part of the Sebrae Furniture Hub .

The Leisure Suite, by Michele Alves , also features a piece designed by the architect. It is the bedside table that emerges as if it were a tear in the carpentry. Because of this, the piece received this name, and its execution is surprising.
