Improving his experience of the fusion between design , architecture and art , the São Paulo-based visual artist Alê Jordão arrives in double dose at the Salão do Móvel 2022 , which takes place from June 7th to 12th.With his sustainable urban furniture created through the adaptation of discarded guardrails, the artist brings to Milan his “ConectART - Guard Rail” , an urban installation that will transform one of the most popular squares in the city of Milan, in the heart of Brera, right on the corner between Corso Garibaldi and the busy Via Della Moscova.

The artist's urban intervention also includes totems for charging cell phones that refer to the external environment and nature and that resemble traditional birdhouses.

The São Paulo native will also have his Bullet Proof armchair on display at the Galleria Paola Colombari – his iconic Fusca Chair, awarded in 2001, made with the hood of an old Beetle , in the permanent exhibition at Salone Satellite.Once again, the artist uses his creativity and recycled materials to create art. This time, he built a stainless steel chair, using bulletproof glass - to make up the seat and back - cracked by gunshots.
