Fichberg Architecture and Interiors - Déjà Vu. Partners Eloy and Felipe Fichberg combine memories of the art nouveau style with the exuberance of Brazilian fauna, flora, and culture in a contemplative nook of 49 m². In the bathroom area, the stained glass depicting indigenous peoples and the Atlantic Forest draws attention. The mosaic floor, made from reclaimed porcelain, showcases figures of tropical fruits such as cacao, açaí, pineapple, jabuticaba, and cashew. In the living room, the professionals bridge the past and present with a mix of classical furniture and examples of contemporary design. A reflection on female representation comes to the fore through the work of artist Silvana Mendes.

Amid bold proposals and cutting-edge materials, the stained glass emerges as an unexpected presence at CASACOR SP 2025. But this is not a nostalgic return: they reappear recontextualized, incorporating visual narratives that evoke ancestry, reflection, and belonging. In two projects of the exhibition, this century-old technique gains new strength as it dialogues with contemporary and identity themes. Additionally, glass makes an unexpected appearance in other areas.

Partners Eloy and Felipe Fichberg combined references of art nouveau with the exuberance of Brazilian fauna, flora, and culture in a 49 m2 space at CASACOR SP 2025. The traditional classic stained glass, both made by Atelie Benini, steals the scene in the bathroom by depicting an indigenous person of the Tupinambá ethnicity and elements that refer to the Atlantic Forest. The technique used in production was the medieval method of lead and tin, while the painting was done with fire.

In turn, Gabriel Rosa tells the story of wine on the African continent in his project — a 33 m2 wine cellar, marked by the use of wood and burgundy tones. The vibrant touch in the space is guaranteed by the colored stained glass by Vitrais Ton Geuer, which seeks to evoke the atmosphere of ancient cathedrals. Meanwhile, the classic arches evoke an ancestral sense of welcome and spirituality. A way to recover visual memories that dialogue with the present.

Other uses of glass in CASACOR SP 2025

In addition to stained glass, glass takes on multiple forms and meanings at CASACOR SP 2025. Whether as a translucent surface, repurposed structure, or suspended sculpture, it reveals its potency of transition, lightness, and reflection in the projects.

Bold combinations, unexpected integration between laundry and bathroom, and vibrant tones define Casa Brastemp at CASACOR SP 2025 — designed by architects Caio and Carlos Carvalho from Studio Roca. Glass is one of the fundamental elements that composes the narrative, appearing as a divider of the projects. Colored materials will be converted into furniture by professionals after the exhibition ends.

The glass bricks that make up one of the walls of Léo Shehtman's project not only anticipate a decoration trend, but also contribute to sustainability. This is because the materials were repurposed from another CASACOR SP edition — in 2022, they were featured in Casa LG, by architect Otto Felix.

(Juliano Colodeti/CASACOR)

Finally, La Rous Studio also draws attention with the use of glass in CASACOR SP by bringing a floating sculpture in its 30 m2 room. Just like the stained glass of Fichberg Architecture and Interiors, the piece was developed by Atelie Benini. The design is by architect Larissa Perna herself. The proposal of the sculpture occupying the ceiling of the space is to reveal the silent elegance of suspended matter.
