The
1000 m² plot of land had one side facing
Lagoa da Pampulha , a tourist attraction in Belo Horizonte (MG) and the north of this project designed by
Lucas Lage , from the
CASACOR MG cast. The project designed for a couple with a teenage daughter resulted in a 600 m² house, with three
bedrooms , a social area integrated with nature and a private area with a privileged view of the city.
Built from scratch, the project sought to make the most of the land, focusing on enhancing the interior and exterior spaces.
"The social area, located on the ground floor, with integrated spaces and surrounded by landscaping that seems to permeate the building, allows for proximity to nature in each space," says the architect.
To enhance the view, large openings were created to allow for contemplation. In fact,
from the master suite it is even possible to see the Church of São Francisco de Assis , which is framed by the large windows. The "Igrejinha da Pampulha" was designed by Oscar Niemeyer.
To meet the needs of our customers, the
kitchen and gourmet area with pool create spaces to welcome friends and family. To facilitate integration, the covered area can be connected to the outdoor areas by means of sliding doors that open completely.
The materiality of the project is defined by the use of
natural materials, such as wood and natural stones . All elements have similar tones, forming a
neutral and sober palette . The composition of the furniture includes materials such as wood, natural linen, leather and cotton fabrics.
For the furniture, Lucas selected contemporary pieces from big names in Brazilian design. Highlights include
the Poltrona Mole , an icon of Brazilian design, designed by Sergio Rodrigues, which was featured prominently in the couple's suite.
The position of the gardens was chosen with the aim of enhancing the natural light in the interiors and ensuring greater contact with nature.
The landscaping is composed of tropical species , chosen to make the spaces more comfortable and airy, as well as
fruit trees . The jabuticaba tree, located near the kitchen, stands out.
