Green from the outside enters the CASACOR Rio 2022 color palette

The gardens are lush with native species from the Atlantic Forest , making the Brando Barbosa Residence, where the 31st edition of CASACOR Rio is taking place, a true refuge in the middle of the city. In the interiors, greenery appears in a variety of shapes and shades. : wallpapers, floors, ceilings, fabrics, furniture, paintings... and, of course, plants that help bring nature into the home. Inspired by the original doors and ceiling moldings of the room where she created her Living da Fonte , interior designer Paola Ribeiro chose a cyan tone, Trilha Verde by Coral , to color practically the entire space: it appears on the walls and in trellises created through it that rise up to the stained glass windows of the large hall, as well as two large carpets that cover a good part of the floor. In the Café da Casa , set up where the residence's original kitchen was, architect Vivian Reimers used wallpaper with natural motifs chosen by her to create an identity with the outside of the space , facing the garden. Architect Adriana Esteves used green in furniture, lighting, ceilings and walls. The color appears in both the paint chosen and the wallpaper , which is reminiscent of an expressionist painting where blue predominates, but also features brushstrokes of green. The color also appears on the ceiling of the Winter Garden , by Adriana Valle and Patricia Carvalho , who chose the Black Forest tone, by Coral . The space, which has huge windows that open onto the house's gardens, also has planters that help to bring nature inside. Another space where green is highlighted is the Espaço Figueira , by architect Erick Figueira de Mello . There, the color is literally everywhere: from the hydraulic tile floor , designed exclusively by him for the show, to the walls from the restaurant, passing through the entire external area where there are two other different environments: Wine Garden, on the left, and Jabuticaba Garden, on the right, both with almost all green furniture .

And, of course, there is no shortage of plants bringing nature into the interiors. Mauricio Nóbrega , Bia Wolff and Maria Estellita opted for species with large, lush leaves for their Patio Living Room. Dado Castello Branco used arrangements of guaimbés and a large palm tree that takes advantage of the double height ceiling of its Tempo Room. CASACOR Rio will be open until June 26th and will feature 43 teams of professionals , including architects, interior designers and landscapers.
