CASACOR São Paulo 2019. In addition to its summer climate, the region is known for its concentration of Mid-Century Modern design, which translated the American dream in the 1950s and 1960s. With this repertoire, the French architect based in Rio de Janeiro heated up
CASACOR SP with his Palm Springs Balcony.
The living room, dining room and an open area make up a space to enjoy, starting with this energy the exhibition's journey. In the living room, it is already possible to feel that the loose layout and the selection of eclectic furniture are not bound by formal rules of composition. or at the same time.
The textures make the space even more interesting. As the eye moves forward, the visual path reveals marble, wood and rough stones on the walls. The tiles on the floor and walls are some of the most striking elements of the project's identity, reminiscent of Brazilian buildings of the 1960s.
The vibrant color coordination is equally surprising, suggesting a freedom and pleasure that are reflected in the ambiance. The project's references also include the ultra-colorful architecture of Mexican Luis Barragán and even the Majorelle garden, from the Moroccan residence of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. in intense Klein blue.
Design and art enhance each other in the project. Here is another good example. On the tiled wall, the photographs by Fernanda Naman stand out. In front, the Costela armchair by Martin Eisler.
