Unplugged bedroom ponders modern life and suggests that moderation can be synonymous with happiness. Designed by
Ana Luiza Tomasi for
CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis , the bedroom embodies these reflections in unpretentious furniture, in natural tones ranging from raw to green. Designed for a young couple with a busy routine, the 22 m²
room welcomes its guests with serenity and comfort. With a concept that promotes well-being, the environment reviews the use of social networks, valuing individuality and disconnection.
The walls were covered in non-uniform natural wood panels, in which two shelves were built in, connected to the straw wardrobe. The green dresser stands out as the most intense color in the composition, a complement to the lightness of the linen fabrics of the curtains, bed linen and on the sofa. The loose decor features low paintings from Galeria Helena Neckel, golden sculptures by Fabiana Queiroga and a heart-shaped sculpture by Italian Seletti. The vertical light fixture is by Guilherme Wentz.
The Japanese philosophy Wabi Sabi gave the project its guidelines, with the ideal of belief in the imperfect and appreciation of life. Natural materials and indirect lighting were used to convey coziness, in addition to the asymmetry in the shapes, textures and volumes of the environment, proving that there is no such thing as a perfect, perfect, and perfect image. There is no reason to yearn for an ideal lifestyle, after all, perfection is unattainable. CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2019 When?
