David Bastos had no doubts about the city to portray in his Redário other than the land that served as his home and hosted, in his more than 40 years of career, all his works: Salvador, the capital of Bahia that receives until December 12th the CASACOR Windows project in different parts of the city.

At 60 m², Redário invites visitors to enjoy the view of Farol da Barra, where the container is housed. The project brings the comfort of the living universe, but revitalized by all the elements that bring the sea closer: here, the floor gives way to sand; the sofa, the hammocks; and the walls feature the iconic work of Vik Muniz , who colors the composition with a portrait of the Elevador Lacerda, Salvador's most celebrated postcard.

Amidst the natural landscape, the architecture was implemented in a light, hollow structure, with glass closure and fishing nets to bring the beach inside. The permeable character causes minimal visual impact on the coastal scene, making it a true temple of contemplation and relaxation. A highlight is the collage on the ceiling of the container, which brought together postcards from different parts of the world in order to further insert the exterior into the decoration.
