1. Patterned tiles


Prints are all the rage in CASACOR 2024 projects, especially in ceramic coverings. Geometric and ethnic figures are the most used in soft and contrasting combinations. The result is a look with a retro and charming atmosphere, reminiscent of decorations from other times, but without looking old or dated.

The earthy tones with touches of blue and stainless steel, as well as textures, highlight the affective heritage of Northeastern craftsmanship. The hydraulic tile flooring follows the same palette.

Designed by Gabi Pileggi and Luciana Bacheschi at CASACOR São Paulo , this space was inspired by the European patios brought to Brazil by colonizers. That's why patterned tiles were a must. Note that the tiles feature designs in the same tone as the smooth coverings, creating visual harmony in the project.

Adriana Farias designed a bathroom at CASACOR São Paulo that aims to create the sensation of being in the forest . The hydraulic tiles with indigenous graphics stand out, forming a large panel on the wall that expresses thoughts, experiences and life experiences. The curved ceiling in shades of brown, green and blue symbolizes the treetops, the walls in the pattern of jatobá wood refer to the trunks, and the quartzite in the sink reproduces the colors of the Victoria Regia.

2. Rustic textures

Designed by Bruno Ortega at CASACOR Ribeirão Preto , this bathroom brings the warmth of a rain shower as an experience. According to the professional, the integration of natural elements in architecture is essential to offer refuge in the midst of modern life. This feeling also emerges in the use of stone, which brings rusticity.

Michael Zanghelini designed a 380 m² house at CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis where architecture and nature merge in a subtle and monochromatic way. The bathroom follows this proposal and features walls covered in stone — the same material that gives shape to the countertop — with reddish tones, which are repeated in the wall paint.

4. Dark wood


Another coating highlighted as a trend by the professionals in the CASACOR 2024 cast is dark wood . In many environments, wooden veneers in sober tones were responsible for creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, while at the same time evoking a sophisticated aesthetic.

Created by architect Leo Shehtman at CASACOR São Paulo , this loft has a New York feel, with a fine mix of design and artwork that coexists with the casualness of industrial finishes. Dark wood makes up the sober palette, which also features black bricks and rough stones.

One of the highlights of architect Rafael Ramos ’ project for CASACOR Rio de Janeiro is, without a doubt, the dark wood-finished carpentry, which is in perfect keeping with the current trend. “We used the same pattern throughout the loft to create an aesthetic unity and reinforce the idea of integrating spaces, mixing smooth and slatted surfaces in the panels, partitions and cabinets. To avoid making the space look heavier, we compensated with lighter, calmer tones on the walls, floors and ceiling,” he explains.

Paola Ribeiro designed a contemporary and elegant living room at CASACOR Rio de Janeiro , perfect for welcoming guests in a cozy atmosphere. The walls covered in dark wood panels reinforce the intimate atmosphere that the interior designer wanted to create. Note that the guest bathroom has an unusual idea: it also houses a library.

5. Metal


With an eye on the future , some professionals followed a strong trend presented at Milan Design Week 2024: stainless steel . Many professionals dared to include the material as a coating for architectural structures and the result could not have been more special.

The professional's idea was to create a home inspired by the Chinese philosophy of tao, which in Mandarin can mean path or method.

The stainless steel volume represents a futuristic vision of innovation and progress in the environment of the SALA2 Arquitetura office, presented at CASACOR São Paulo . The main theme of the project, annatto, red in Tupi-Guarani, influenced the architects in the design of the house, which seeks in vernacular architecture a way to honor Brazil's indigenous heritage.
