CASACOR São Paulo 2024 is open at Conjunto Nacional, with 70 spaces that bring to life the theme of this edition: "
As a gift, the now ". With a proposal to
rescue ancestry and
reflect on the impact of each choice , the 37th exhibition in the capital of São Paulo has already outlined the legacy it will leave for the future, presenting a series of
innovations in the universe of
architecture and
design . Next, check out 5 decoration
trends from CASACOR SP 2024!
1. Metallic textures
Furniture filled with
metallic textures is a new highlight at CASACOR São Paulo 2024. With its contemporary design, the material captivates the eye and provides an air of modernity and style to the spaces. In
Casa Coral Lugar de Afeto , a project by architect
Paola Ribeiro , the metallic texture creates this effect in a kitchen composed mostly of classic elements.
With a mirrored appearance and filled with waves, the metallic coating is obtained from stainless steel and also features in
Estúdio Âmago , an environment designed by architect Ana Weege.
2. Low beds
In Japanese tradition, sleeping on beds close to the ground allows the earth to carry away bad energy and is therefore a way to ensure a better night's sleep. In Western culture, on the other hand, low beds have become a trend in minimalist decoration, as in the
Peugeot House of Silence , a project by Natan Gil Arquitetura.

However, at CASACOR São Paulo 2024, low beds were not only found in minimalist environments
— on the contrary, they appeared in several bedrooms at the show. Another example is the
Estúdio Laços de Arte , designed by architect Luciana Viganó, who inserted the low bed in a space filled with artistic paintings.

3. Maximalist mirrors
At CASACOR,
mirrors are much more than objects that reflect an image. They are decorative elements with a strong presence, which bring amplitude and sophistication to any environment in which they are inserted. This year's edition presented contemporary and exclusive pieces of this object, such as in the bathroom of
Casa Urucum , designed by
SALA2 Arquitetura. The mirror also stands out in the
Hall of the Apartment , designed by Gustavo Scaramella. The object organically complements the
maximalist decor of the room and, at the same time, draws attention to itself.
In the
Nosso Próprio Tempo space, designed by architect
Cacau Ribeiro , the yellow sofa appears in combination with a greater diversity of tones from the color wheel, which creates a playful and relaxed space.
5. Acrylic parts
Acrylic pieces are strong candidates for the most versatile decorative element at CASACOR São Paulo 2024. They are used to complement other decorations
— which, at the show, were presented as paintings, books, sculptures, objects and signs. At Estúdio Laços de Arte, the acrylic pieces housed two works from the collection present in the space. (Carolina Mossin / CASACOR)
At Casaviva, a project by Eloy Fichberg and Felipe Fichberg, the acrylic piece was the strategy used to enhance and sophisticate the space's decorative books.
