With the theme '
Body & Home ',
CASACOR São Paulo is at Conjunto Nacional, on Avenida Paulista, one of the city's most important architectural landmarks, this time in an even larger edition:
74 environments . And, for the eighth consecutive year,
Coral is the official paint partner and, for the first time, also a sponsor of the most complete architecture, interior design and landscaping exhibition in the Americas,
showcasing all the versatility of its colors, effects and painting techniques on walls and ceilings, from neutral to colorful tones, from smooth to textured walls, which appear in profusion in this edition.

“
People are looking for something unique, things that set their homes apart from other projects . Being is much more important than having. And colors and paint fulfill this purpose very well. Just like that piece we bought on a trip, a family object, an emotional memory that will make a certain space so special,” says
Juliana Zaponi , Communication and Color Manager at AkzoNobel LatAm – manufacturer of Coral. “
Color plays this strong role of identity and uniqueness in a project , of being an architect’s trademark, but also, and mainly, of representing who will live in that house,” says the executive. Check out, below, a selection of inspiring environments from
CASACOR São Paulo , showing how colors were used in this edition.
Coral House, by Ricardo Abreu
To start the selection, an environment that brings, with great elegance and contemporaneity, the
barbiecore movement to CASACOR São Paulo. Architect
Ricardo Abreu , in his fourth participation in the show, designed
Casa Coral : an impressive project in which
shades of pink predominate combined with a playful and modern architecture , an ode to the courage to take risks in the universe of colors and in projects that value the individuality of those who live there.

In this case, the space was designed for a 64-year-old woman who is very confident in herself and her achievements, and who two years ago
decided to embrace her true identity, without fearing aging . In her home, it is possible to understand the multiple nuances of this
innovative and
intense woman, who leaves any ageist prejudice behind.

With a total area of 225m² and
inspired by the shape of dollhouses , the project features sinuous cutouts, lighting designed for a cozy environment, large ellipses in the ceiling and innovative furniture. In the outdoor area, the color is
Suave Serenata . The living room palette includes the shades
Tarde em Veneza ,
Sapatilha ,
Flores Empoeiradas ,
Vermelho Terra and
Vermelho Blufe . In this resident's bedroom,
Peach Pink predominates on the walls, in a palette that also includes the shades
Inspiração Poética ,
Canto da Tuscana and
Toque de Fluta .
Come in: us, for Planting Ideas
(Salvador Cordaro/CASACOR)
With an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, the exhibition's common space, created by architects
Felipe Stracci and
Luciana Pitombo, offers visitors a moment of pause and reflection. Called
Entre:.nós , the space portrays the
transition between a forest and the seashore , where visitors walk on a monolithic, sandy floor that evokes the beach.
(Salvador Cordaro/CASACOR)
To create a light, tropical atmosphere for the welcoming and social environment, the entire space was designed and worked on a
palette of light, natural green tones . The colors permeate the furniture, landscaping and walls, creating
a harmonious transition between the flooring materials and the wooden elements that make up the environment. The
gradient paint on the walls stands out, in a palette of green tones, which create a landscape that embraces the entire space. There are four shades in this decorative effect:
Tranquil Retreat ,
Italian Village ,
Apple Orchard , and
Summer Sage .
A home to press pause, by Cilene Lupi
Cilene Lupi - Um lar para apertar o pause. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2023. (Rafael Renzo/CASACOR)
A space to disconnect, recharge your batteries, and breathe. This was the premise of architect
Cilene Lupi when designing the 88 m² space, which has a living room, kitchen,
gamer space, balcony, and bedroom that capture the essence and emotional memories of the character. It was designed to be the
home of a young woman from Generation Z , who seeks to reclaim her essence, her past, while also looking to the future and all the possibilities.

The
gaming universe occupies the central space of the environment, and draws attention to the color
Black Pencil and the art of
Raquel Gorzalka , a mural that refers to the aesthetics of
games and fantasy, in an experiment of colors and a mixture of paints that connects to the rest of the project. But other spaces also stand out. The colors of the space reflect heat, intensity, light, and comfort. The curved walls have the Velvet effect in the color
Morning Gray and contrast with other walls, which have been illuminated and the
Earthy Amber tone, integrating the vegetation and creating a space of comfort and tranquility for the
gamer , after the adrenaline of the games, in a perfect balance in her private refuge.
Pollinator Square, by Luciano Zanardo

The
Pollinator Square marks the landscaper's fourth participation in
CASACOR . Works of art, furniture with soft curves and a composition of
ornamental plants transform
Luciano Zanardo 's garden into a large natural
living room , framed by the abundant light from the windows of Conjunto Nacional. With the aim of sharing knowledge and, consequently, the process of raising awareness, the 100 m² garden addresses an issue that is rarely discussed in society:
pollination .

In this environment that invites visitors to contemplation, Zanardo has opted for organic, geometric shapes and
vibrant colors that blend with the natural elements. The walls were painted
Pollen Blue , a color developed exclusively by Coral for the project. In addition to the Insects sculpture by
Leopoldo Martins , another artistic touch is the
Wings Triptych , made of steel and installed on the Pollen Blue wall, in yet another exclusive partnership between Coral and landscaper Luciano Zanardo.
Samba Home, by Marcelo Salum
Marcelo Salum - Morada do Samba. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2023. (MCA Estudio/CASACOR)
After creating an environment in homage to Atilio Baschera and Gregorio Kramer, at
Casa Coral, in 2022 ,
Marcelo Salum 's new challenge in the current edition is
to value African and Brazilian cultures using samba as a starting point.
As a characteristic of Salum's work, the highlight of this space is the
mix of colors and production full of details, arts, sculptures and objects that help to tell the story of the environment . The color palette that paints ceilings and walls, helping to give personality to this environment, has the tones
Tuscany Corner ,
Desert Morning ,
Desert Heat ,
Evening Serene ,
Great Metropolis and
Green Grass .
Araxá House, by José Navarro
Marked by the construction of a complete residence, the space developed by
José Navarro in his debut at
CASACOR presents a reinterpretation of the beauty of growing up in an environment full of values and tradition, but with
a contemporary vision of the Minas Gerais home: at the same time cozy and functional . The decorative items present are
references from his entire life , with some pieces brought directly from his grandparents' home.
The entire concept of the space is built on a neutral base. To create a comfortable conversation between the colors and the desired atmosphere, the
Meditation tone by Coral was used: the name itself conveys the idea of
balancing and calming the environment . And for the accent wall, which references the works of Almicar de Castro that impact and welcome those who arrive, the
Japanese Mushroom tone was chosen, with a burnt cement effect, bringing weight, texture and movement to the space.
The Reverse of the Metaverse, by Brunete Fraccaroli
Brunete Fraccaroli Arquitetura & Interiores - O Reverso do Metaverso.
The space by
Brunete Fraccaroli , an architect who is part of the show's super cast of renowned artists, is approximately 180m². In order to intentionally serve as inspiration, the project's starting point is the
"use and abuse" of new technologies , to the point of surprising, as are the selected colors.
Technology goes hand in hand with the project , with the new feature this year being the
metaverse . Together with Amaury Júnior, an avatar of Brunete was created, in a creative and fun experience to interact with visitors.

In the search to bring sensitivity and human emotions, the architect bet on
warm tones in order to express and visually transmit, through the colors
Nascer do Oriente and
Passo da Dançarina , a high energy, welcoming and joy. In addition, elements that refer to affection, tolerance, the proposed theme of
CASACOR , are included as part of the project composition.
