At Casa Cor Paraná 2015 , architects Carolina Rousseau and Camila Markowicz were inspired by two great names in Brazilian history to design the Cocktail Bar and Mezzanine. The tropical atmosphere, which highlights the Brazilian character of the space, was achieved through the use of colors, loose furniture , use of plants and lighting with spotlights, which highlight details of the space. The professionals were inspired by the São Paulo painter and designer Tarsila do Amaral to create this atmosphere.
“In the space in homage to Tarsila do Amaral, we used technical lighting from Grey House Iluminação to highlight and enhance the furniture, in addition to the plants that reference the artist’s work,” explains Camila Markowicz.
By combining technical and decorative lighting, the architects brought to the Mezzanine features of architect and designer Sergio Rodrigues. To achieve this, a pendant and two wooden floor lamps were used, and to highlight the leather armchairs, the professionals directed the spotlights. “The Madeira brings a reference to the Brazilian style of Sérgio Rodrigues, in an environment to be and relax”, concludes Camila.
