CASACOR Paraná 2018 will feature the special participation of designers Moacir Schmitt Jr. and Sálvio Moraes Jr., from Balneário Camboriú. The duo, who have already had spaces at the Santa Catarina show and designed CASA_DEZESSEIS for CASACOR São Paulo 2018 , are responsible for Estar Íntimo in the Paraná edition. The multipurpose space is all about comfort and the main element is a modular sofa on a 28 m² rug, which takes up almost the entire area of the room. Around the upholstery, side tables, shelves and niches were arranged to store decorations, souvenirs of travel, books, etc.
All the walls were covered in wood, warming up the space and making it even more cozy. The ceiling, without lining and with an exposed wooden structure, was kept with the original configuration of the house.
The project was designed for those who enjoy the comfort of their own home, whether it’s to read a book, listen to music or entertain friends with a unique layout. Attached to this room, the duo installed a bar area in a darker atmosphere, contrasting with the the sobriety of light and pink tones in the room. Works of art from the Neckel Gallery and large wool tapestries contrast with the green, brown, blue and graphite, completing the production of the space.
