The view from this
274 m² penthouse was already privileged: the
São Paulo skyline becomes even wider when seen from the 24th floor. To give it an extra highlight, the
Sabugosa Arquitetura office – part of the
CASACOR SP 2024 team – used a structural wall on the terrace, where there was already a rectangular opening, to create a
window that frames the landscape with soft stones.

"The project was designed for clients who were looking for a connection with the outdoors, so we focused on natural materials such as
stone, wood and landscaping ," says the firm. Along the structural wall, a slatted bench runs the length of the wall and organizes the living space.

This outdoor terrace also houses a space for the family to sunbathe, with
a swimming pool and
landscaping with fruit trees . It also serves as a setting for entertaining friends, as it has
a gourmet area with water- and sun-resistant woodwork and a large dining table.

The social area is fully integrated. In the
main living room – divided by the carpet – the custom-made sofa was designed to fit between the two round structural pillars. On the opposite side, a large natural oak panel camouflages doors and houses a wine cellar, bookshelf and TV.

In the dining
room , the slatted sliding doors and clear glass follow the 3 m ceiling height and divide the space with the
kitchen , in addition to hiding the cupboard. The table with a misshapen wooden top and the green chairs centralize the space.

The
bathroom was covered with
gradient wallpaper – which starts with the blue tone used in the kitchen cabinetry and ends in white. The ceiling is free of plaster and an illuminated canvas provides soft light. The dekton countertop and the oval-shaped mirror complete the space.

In the private area, the children's suite combined the requests of the two children:
a black room with planets for the son and a pink bedroom for the daughter – all in the same room , so that the children could spend their childhood together. The carpentry divides the space into two levels, and each space is divided by wallpaper and bed linen in different colors.

For the parents, the master
suite features lots of wood and light lacquer tones. The bathroom door is camouflaged in the TV panel, which also houses niches and shelves.

For the master bathroom, the intention was to make the most of the structure provided by the construction company. "Here, we increased the space dedicated to the closet to create a
bathroom with a viewing window for the shower and made a custom-made vanity," concludes the office.
