Inspired by the most beautiful aspects of Brazilian design, Naomi Abe returns to CASACOR São Paulo 2018 with the Dining Room . The 38 m² space is a synthesis of national aesthetics and culture, designed to be a place of celebration, permeated by for elegance and joy.
On the walls, white cobogós – a classic Brazilian touch – immediately catch the eye of visitors and capture their gaze. The texture and transparency conveyed by them is intensified by the placement of mirrors on the walls, giving the illusion of continuity and enhancing the natural lighting. .
On the floor, another pleasant surprise: hydraulic tiles designed by the professional herself and based on the works of Tarsila do Amaral. The geometry of the greenish composition brings personality to the space. For the decoration, the choice was modernist furniture. Pieces by Jorge Zalszupin, Geraldo de Barros and Joaquim Terneiro stand side by side with works by Genaro de Carvalho.
Linen, wood and tiles were used to finish and make the room more welcoming. The grout behind the sideboard is finished with gold ribbons, made in partnership with the artist João Migotto.
