Kitchen cladding: 5 trends to innovate your decor
Choosing the right coverings is a top priority for those who want to create a personalized atmosphere and add a touch of innovation to their décor . Kitchens are strategic spaces where functionality and aesthetics can (and should!) go hand in hand. At CASACOR 2024 , kitchen coverings stole the show and showed that it is possible to innovate with great quality. Below, check out the most beautiful inspirations and trends identified at the shows:

1- Textured finish

Textures are essential to create a sensory experience . In the Casa Veredas Simonetto project, architect Gabriel Fernandes wanted to bring the charm and atmosphere of a true country house to CASACOR São Paulo 2024. The brick stove brings a more rustic texture that rescues ancestry .

2- Mix of colors

Paola Ribeiro - Casa Coral Lugar de Afeto. Projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2024.

Mixing different colors and textures can be a good choice for decorating your kitchen. In the project designed by Paola Ribeiro , the green upper cabinets harmonize very well with the white wood in the lower part of the room.

3- Stone island

Kitchens with islands have become a favorite at CASACOR and have established themselves as timeless. In the project designed by Renato Mendonça , the island was made with XTONE Aged Clay stone, supplied by VM Stone and produced by Pérola Mármores, which reproduces an elegant cream tone that contrasts with the dark wood of the rest of the space.

4- Black ll coatings

José Roberto Moreira do Valle - Young Executive Loft. CASACOR São Paulo 2024 Project.

All-black kitchens have always been synonymous with sophistication , but the concern with creating a heavy environment has always permeated among decorators. For this reason, the trend now is to bring darker coverings to the stones, and combine them with wood tones that refer to nature in the cabinets. In the project above signed by the Moreira do Valle office, the XTONE Marquina Black Polished covering, supplied by VM Stone, brought all the personality to the loft countertop .

5- Modern tiles

Mandril Architecture - Kitchen Lathe. CASACOR São Paulo 2024 Project.

(Israel Gollino/CASACOR)

Tiles have become essential pieces to create a more casual and creative look. In the project above, Mandril Arquitetura designed a kitchen in which the shades of blue interact and appear in different moments: in the upholstery of the chairs, in the tiles on the countertop and even in the color of the walls. A perfect harmony with lots of personality .
