Matheus Lima - Sans Tache. In his first participation in the show, Matheus Lima, the youngest professional in this edition, chose specific pieces with striking designs for his project, such as the 4-meter-long pink sofa. “It contrasts with the entire composition of the living room, which has a very masculine concept and a darker feel,” explains the designer. The scenic lighting and the curved dark wood slats that surround the space reinforce the intimate and dramatic atmosphere. The name that inspired the space's design came from the painting by artist Gabriel Wickbold. In French, it means 'without stains'.

Winter has arrived in Brazil, living up to its title as the coldest season of the year, and with it comes the desire to snuggle up in a comfortable , warm space . But how can you make your home cozier without having to completely remodel it? With this in mind, Pantone , inspired by the New York Fashion Week shows, has selected a color palette that will be more present than ever this winter . Regarding the selection, the company stated: "the colors go in several directions at the same time: from a chaotic wave of colors that clash and mix in new ways and take us to unknown frontiers, to an ultra-calm selection that brings together organic colors from nature , exuding a calm stability."

The Entrance Lounge has opted for an extravagant and fun look that combines a monochromatic shade of orange with greenery from the plants. The space proves that it can be cheerful , sophisticated and bring a wintery atmosphere that perfectly matches the coldest days of the year.
Matheus Lima - Sans Tache, projeto da CASACOR São Paulo 2021.

Matheus Lima - Sans Tache. (Renato Navarro/CASACOR)

A pink sofa that invites you to snuggle up against a dark brown wooden panel creates a wintery atmosphere, even if unintentionally. The light pink that Matheus Lima chose for the sofa resembles " Nosegay " - the fragrant floral pink that promises to engage multiple senses , chosen by Pantone to compose the winter palette.

The same shade of pink was also chosen years earlier, in 2018, at CASACOR Espírito Santo , by Marcela Carvalho . The architect wanted to bring the color to moments of joy and sharing among friends and family during dinner – a great synergy with the spirit of colder days, especially for those who don't want to leave the comfort of their home or miss seeing their friends and loved ones.
