The ceramic coating brand
Portinari is present at
CASACOR Minas Gerais with the application of products in different environments – especially the launches revealed this year. The 29th edition of the show takes place at
Espaço 356 , a project by Construtora EPO, located on the banks of BR-356, shortly after BH Shopping, and runs until September 15 under the theme “
De Presente, O Agora ”, which invites reflection on our ancestral identity and the path we wish to follow. In the exhibition, architect
Michele Alves designed the “
Living Anna Bella ” space. A space designed to pay homage to artist Anna Bella Geiger – one of the first artists to engage in abstract art in Brazil. Conceived as a
dynamic, welcoming and fluid living room , it is a space in constant change, where the artist receives his guests, creates his works and studies, like a living organism in constant movement. To compose the walls and floor of the space, Michele chose the Gales Organic SBE HARD and
Gales SBE NAT Kit coverings by Portinari.
The mountainous region of
Wales , with its captivating castles and villages, served as inspiration for the name of this collection. The pieces feature the
singularities of different stones , but are similar in two ways: their naturalness and chromatic neutrality. The organic line modules are supplied in
kits of 8 pieces – each with a different shape –, which allows for a diverse layout in which repetition between pieces is not easily seen, giving the set an even more natural result. Michele also specified the
Luce di Luna covering in the 120X120 cm format, which is the result of
Deep Design technology, bringing more naturalness and reality to the product. The covering is inspired by Luna Quartzite, a classic Italian white marble with subtle veins and a satin touch.
Gabriela Brasil, Marlon Júnior and Pedro Melo designed the “
Café Mayor ” space. The architects’ proposal was to enhance the pre-existing structure, creating a relaxed and cheerful environment. The variety of colors, textures and types of furniture make the space even more casual and democratic. To compose the floor and walls of the space, the architects chose the
MC Fillet WH MATTE covering, in a 30X30 cm format, by Portinari. A thin and delicate slat, perfect for covering curved walls, since it is supplied in a 30 x 30 cm mesh mosaic.

Architect
Júnior Piacesi designed the “
Eleve-se ” space. The fusion between modernity and nature creates a unique and captivating atmosphere in the space. With a panoramic view, the bar is the focal point, with
a modern architectural structure and elegant curves . There is also a space dedicated to contemplation and relaxation, with benches and fireplaces. The lighting is scenic, planned to highlight contours and details, and the presence of vegetation adds freshness and life to the project. To compose the floor and walls of the space, Piacesi specified the
Verona BE NAT covering by Portinari, which has a 120X120 cm format.
Raw stone, in all its nuances and graphic richness, inspires this collection. To create the design, Portinari sought references in the architecture of the Italian city of Verona, with its exposed raw stone. The way to recreate this aesthetic was a
mix of Limestone Francese and Aracruz Brasil . The surface of the base pieces can have a smooth or embossed finish, reproducing the naturalness of the original stone. A brick with slightly irregular fluted relief – which appears to be “carved in stone” – completes the collection.
Architects
Bruno Câmara and Marcela Machado designed “
Studio Urbano ”: an urban retreat designed to offer peace and tranquility, like a sanctuary for decompression. A wooden box embraces the bedroom and bed, enhancing comfort, and elements such as stone and carefully selected textures add a touch of serenity. Soft lighting creates a magical atmosphere and highlights the support shelf with designer pieces and elements from Minas Gerais, adding authenticity to the space. To cover the walls and floor of the room, the architects chose
Alba BE NAT , a 120 x 120 cm tile by Portinari. The design of this piece uses as a reference the light veins of Armani marble, valued for its elegance and timelessness.
The project, designed by
Studio 126 Arquitetura , led by Evandro Melato and Pabricio Amaral, celebrates a successful history with Deca. “
Balnerar Deca ” combines the historical wealth of Minas Gerais with the modernity and innovation embodied in architecture. The bathroom also features contemporary design as a historical manifestation of the gold mines. The
Hana Hollow Element , a collaboration between Portinari and Alex Hanazaki, allows light to enter the space, just as it would in a mine.
Architect
Isabella Sefisa designed the “
Refugio Gênesis ”. Designed as a loft, including a bedroom, living room, bathroom, wine cellar and balcony, this project seeks to
reflect on the essence of each person . The neutral color palette conveys tranquility. The furniture, covered in white, explores different textures. Highlights include natural elements, such as stone and wood, which also convey a sense of comfort and calm, worthy of a true refuge. To compose the flooring of the space, Isabella chose the
Travertino Cross CUT BE MLX DD coating by Portinari. Slowly sculpted by the passage of time, travertine is a limestone rock that reveals a
timeless elegance in its subtle tones and tells silent stories engraved in its veins. In this reinterpretation, the use of
Deep Design technology makes the pieces
even more realistic and sophisticated . The collection was named after St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture that uses travertine on both the main façade and the columns and decorative elements present inside.
